Sorry for the short notice, but our May 17, 2025 DFG is cancelled due to my illness and my father being in the hospital. Prayers for our challenges appreciated!
We have faith that our Father, the  Redeemer, Healer, and our Lord and Savior will bring us through!
We had a great time on Patriot's Day, April 19th. with the men hearing a great word, and then having tons of fun on the range.

Next time is Pistol Day! There are steel targets and a dueling tree on the range!  Who's the fastest dead-eye?

Dangerous For Good (DFG) - Tell your brothers; it's Ok to want to BBQ, do manly stuff, have bonfires, shoot stuff, and still love Jesus!

Watch this space for updates on the rescheduled event and future events.
God Bless!

Welcome to "Dangerous For Good" (DFG); a Men's interest/discipleship group, meets only once monthly (third Saturday of the month), 10:00 - 11:30 am, at the Clay County Outdoor Adventure Park range (3829 Sergeant Bradley Crose Rd, Middleburg, FL 32068).

Our first meeting is April 19th, 2025. This is the 250th anniversary of a very important date! (We'll talk about it at the group.)  The first session is open to both pistol and rifle shooting.
I'll highlight some rifle stuff on April 19th.

There is no charge for the group, however the range will charge a $10.00/person range fee.
The message will start promptly at 10:00 am, please try to arrive a little early. If it's your first time at this range, you'll have to go into the office and complete their safety orientation well before 10:00 (or after the message).

It is very important to understand that this is a safe space for Men to discuss manly stuff and form community and brotherhood with other men.

After the message, we'll go to the range and have a blast! (See what I did there?)

If you've never fired a firearm before, I can help you. If you don't have a firearm, I have loaners (This is not paid instruction, I am not "giving lessons"; I'm helping my Brothers) If you are a prohibited person (from handling firearms), then sorry, I can't loan you a firearm, but you are welcome to hang out and join the brotherhood. Men need other men to go through life with.  EPH 6:16 Talks about the Shield of Faith; those shields were meant to lock together; WE ARE NOT MEANT TO FIGHT ALONE!

We'll probably wrap-up around 11:30-ish, and for those interested, we'll go to lunch together at Bono's BBQ in Middleburg, FL.  Please text me, Dave Kyser at (904) 631-2926 or e-mail me at [email protected] if you have questions.

If you don't want to shoot, you can still come for the message! If you don't have ammo, come anyway, we'll work something out.
I'm looking forward to it (HEB 10:25); it's a men's gun range group!  Shouldn't we be able to shoot things, do manly stuff, eat BBQ, and still be able to love Jesus?

So, in summary:
DFG
April 19th, 2025, 10:00 - 11:30 am

At the Clay County Outdoor Adventure Park range
3829 Sergeant Bradley Crose Rd, Middleburg, FL 32068
Tell your friends!

Jesus bestowed on his friends a dangerous presence: they were dangerous for good! A man who is dangerous for good is a warrior in the Kingdom of God, who moves with a whole heart, a full life, and Kingdom authority. (MATT 10:7-8)
When a man has both a cause and a King, he is ready to be turned loose, deployed back into the story (1 SAM 4:9). He’s oriented, knows what good God is up to in his life. He finds other warriors and kings, signs treaties; when they are at war, he is at war. He is ready to be Dangerous For Good!
